Blue Mountain All Women's Run 1995 Nancy Erickson "The Brothers"

Infection and disease prevention along with testing are key to sexual health. Blue Mountain Clinic provides education, testing and resources that can help people make informed decisions about their sexual health needs.

For women who are sexually active, pap smears and pelvic exams are recommended every one to three years as a standard screening for any abnormalities of the reproductive system.

We also offer and encourage testing for sexually transmitted diseases and infections for both men and women. We routinely test for Chlamydia, HPV and HIV. Many STIs and STDs may be treated and early treatment is often the most successful. For example, if left untreated HPV or human papillomavirus (genital warts), may, in some cases, lead to cervical cancer. Now, we are able to offer a vaccine for females age 9- 26 years to help prevent against this disease.

Call the clinic to discuss this vaccine or any other STI or STD testing or treatment with a clinician.
