Blue Mountain All Women's Run 1995 Nancy Erickson "The Brothers"

Blue Mountain Clinic provides education, testing and resources that can help people make informed decisions about their sexual health needs.

For women who are sexually active, pap smears and pelvic exams are recommended every one to three years as a standard screening for any abnormalities of the reproductive system.

We also offer and encourage testing for sexually transmitted diseases and infections for both men and women. At Blue Mountain Clinic, we routinely test for:

  • Chlamydia
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)- if left untreated HPV may lead to cervical cancer. We now offer a vaccine for females aged 9-26 years to help prevent against this disease.
  • Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
  • Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)

Many STIs and STDs may be treated and early treatment is often the most successful. Call the clinic to discuss  any other STI or STD testing or treatment with a clinician.
