Blue Mountain All Women's Run 1996 Mary Beth Percival "Mountain Spirits"

Once you have made a decision to end a pregnancy, scheduling for an abortion is as easy as making a phone call.  When calling for an appointment please allow at least 10 - 15 minutes on the phone.  The following is the information you should have available when you call:

  • the first day of your last menstrual period
  • when you obtained a positive pregnancy test
  • any known drug allergies
  • your medical history ( previous pregnancies, heart conditions, pelvic / uterine infection, abnormal paps and subsequent treaments, and any other medical information)
  • questions you have

Medical and surgical abortions have different time frames for scheduling.  Please indicate which method you prefer to schedule.  One or two day appointments are available.  Full payment is expected at the time of service so ensure that your scheduled appointment allows for this.

While we are happy to talk with partners, parents or friends to answer their questions, it is very important that we speak directly to the woman seeking an abortion at the time of scheduling.  Not only is the above information best obtained from the woman directly, this initial conversation is the first step to building a positive caring relationship.
