BMC Women’s Run- History

For 24 years, from 1984 to 2007, Blue Mountain Clinic’s yearly fundraiser was “The All Women’s Run”. Traditionally, community supporters would support the run not only at the event but through art. Local female artists added a touch of flare and beauty to the Blue Mountain Clinic All Women’s Run, and the donation of each stunning piece of artwork ensured that the T-shirts and posters for the All Women’s Run would be fresh and attention grabbing every year. While each art piece varied in scope and theme, all represented the BMC mission — past and future —  and the beautiful place in which we live.

For years, the “Blue Mountain Clinic All Women’s Run” was one of the most challenging of women’s runs in Montana, attracting more than 1,000 women each year of all ages and abilities. With the 2 mi “Fun Run” and 5 K run/walk, the 10 K run was one of the most scenic and challenging half marathons around.
